Mizrachi's Repeat Bid Ends, and Fei Bags the Lead of 174
Day 5 was a bloodbath, slicing the field from 533 down to 174. The headline casualty: defending champion Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, whose back to back dream died in 241st for $50,000 after a flush over flush cooler left him short, then his last chips ran into Hossein Ensan's aces. Two more past world champions followed him out, Greg Raymer in 279th and Ryan Riess in 282nd. Wesley Fei, the Hustler Casino Live high roller, bagged the overnight lead with 4,580,000, trailed by Francisco Fragoso (3,910,000) and Daniel Hachem (3,895,000), with Todd Brunson (3,690,000) and 2019 champ Ensan (3,450,000) also loaded up for Day 6.
