Trayner Bags a Monster as 62 Becomes 21
Day 7 sheared the field from 62 down to 21, and one stack towers over the rest. Australia's Malcolm Trayner, fresh off an Aussie Millions title, bagged a giant 63,200,000, well clear of Rami Hammoud (41,500,000) and Lucas Jumalon (40,800,000). Reigning Player of the Year Shaun Deeb is right in it too, sixth in chips at 31,300,000 on the deepest Main Event run of his career, while 2019 world champion Hossein Ensan (29,700,000) sits one day from another final table as the last former champ standing. The two men who led at the end of Day 6 will not be there: Tyler Gaston busted 36th and Blake Barousse went out 31st, both before the final three tables formed.

What to Watch Today
This is the day the final nine gets set. Day 8 runs 21 players down to the last table, and every bustout is now a seven figure swing: reach the final nine and you have locked at least $1,000,000. Trayner's stack is huge but not untouchable with Hammoud and Jumalon in range, and Deeb and Ensan both carry star power and history into the fight. The nine survivors take the summer off under this year's ESPN deal and return to Las Vegas on August 3 to play for the $10,000,000 and the bracelet.
